The Aero Cuope!!!!!!.
In 1986 Chevrolet came out with a new package for the Monte Carlo SS. The Aerocoupe. The Aerocoupe, with it's sloped rear window, added stability, improved road holding, and improved air flow. With a drag coefficient of only 3.65, this gave it approximately an extra 5 mph on the track.
In 1986 only 200 Aerocoupes were built. This was the minimum amount necessary if it was to be used in NASCAR racing. The Aerocoupe was carried into 1987. Due to lack of sales, there were only 6,052 built in 1987
